 Lavender & Lace, Hastings Bed & Breakfast is a Grade II listed, timber framed, Tudor town house dating back to early 1500. Situated in a residential street in the heart of Hastings Old Town with its cosmopolitan flavour, antique shops, bars and restaurants. Just 300 metres from the famous Hastings fishing beach and Country Park.
Your hosts Tina and Paul are passionate about good service and our aim is to provide a warm reception and enjoyable stay at our 4 Star, Silver award Bed and Breakfast. All our rooms are decorated to a high standard. In the rooms there is a colour TV with DVD to entertain, coffee and tea making facilities with fresh milk daily, Egyptian cotton bed linen, alarm clock, dressing gowns and hairdryers, plus luxury toiletries, all making Lavender & Lace a home you will love. WIFI broadband access is available throughout.
Breakfast is cooked every morning, fresh for you, and where possible we always try to use local ingredients. Our breakfast menu consists of English, Continental and vegetarian options. On the sideboard we have Tina's home made yoghurt and preserves, with a selection of fruits in season. Our heavily timbered breakfast room also serves as a quiet lounge with comfortable seating, where you are welcome to sit and relax, read the paper, or simply browse through our selection of local books and guides.
Our second floor family suite, with double and twin rooms, sitting area and separate bathroom make a cosy retreat for our families, or couples holidaying together. Due to the age and layout of the house we are unable to accept children under the age of 10 years. However, children 10 or over are most welcome.
We welcome cyclists and offer secure overnight storage for your cycles.
